The Black at Sussex project launched in 2022. It aims to improve the experience of Black students and staff at ÃûæÂÖ±²¥, through ongoing research, events and initiatives. 

Black at Sussex has three main objectives.

• Celebrate Black culture among current and former students & staff

• Establish and develop collaborative partnerships with Black led organisations, internally and externally

• Promote the university to Black students and staff.
