Show a systematic understanding of the types of biological data stored in public databases and how these data are organised and accessed.
A systematic understanding and the ability to deploy methods for the analysis of sequence homology and function
Critically evaluate bioinformatics data to demonstrate how links can be made between genes and proteins involved in disease processes
Access, manipulate and analyse biological data from public databases using web-based tools to initiate and carry out independent projects
