Module Outline

This module is designed for stage 4 MSci students to engender the ability to think critically about scientific work and to understand the logic of scientific methods and approaches.

Module learning outcomes

Demonstrate critical awareness of current problems in bioscience research.

Evaluate and critique methodologies in bioscience research.

Demonstrate self-direction, originality and professional standards in literature research.

Demonstrate ability to communicate complex ideas to a general non-specialist audience.
