Discuss the nature of enzymatic reactions and analyse simple enzyme kinetics experiments.

Describe the structure and function of specific proteins with examples e.g. haemoglobin and myoglobin; and chemical techniques used to study them.

Describe the structure and function of lipids and carbohydrates in biological systems and techniques used to study them.

Describe the importance of energetic homeostasis in living organisms.
