Alessandro CerriReader in Experimental Particle Physics
Research
Dr. Cerri has more than 10 years of experience in analyses at hadron colliders, and currently focuses on the use of Flavour physics as a means to probe for new physics. His detector expertise covers both trigger hardware development as well as its commissioning and operation. Before joining the ATLAS experiment he has been working on the experiment at , contributing to several major physics results (among which the oscillation frequency of the Bs meson) and with innovative trigger hardware and strategies.
Hardware wise his interest is in the development of triggers for particle collider experiments, including in particular tracking systems, pattern recognition and the corresponding dedicated hardware.
