I completed my PhD at the Department of International Relations in 2024 under the supervision of Professor Emeritus Justin Rosenberg, Professor Benjamin Selwyn and Dr. Julian Germann. My thesis offers a novel critique of comparative advantage theory and mobilises the theory of uneven and combined development to explore how international trade contributed to the economic divergence of Latin America in the nineteenth century.Ìý

I received a BA in History and Politics (First Class) from the University of Wawick and an MA in Latin American Studies from the Free University of Berlin. As part of my masters degree, I spend a semester at Colegio de México in Mexico City.Ìý
