On this module, you’ll learn the foundations of working in partnership with people with serious mental health difficulties, their families and members of a multidisciplinary team.
Topics include:
- care planning with people with serious mental health difficulties and their families within a multidisciplinary team
- the use of IT systems and supervision.
Assessment
60%: Practical (Portfolio)
40%: Written assessment (Essay)
Contact hours and workload
This module is approximately 150 hours of work. This breaks down into about 78 hours of contact time and about 72 hours of independent study. The University may make minor variations to the contact hours for operational reasons, including timetabling requirements.
We regularly review our modules to incorporate student feedback, staff expertise, as well as the latest research and teaching methodology.
