Autumn teaching
On this module, you’ll advance the skills you’ve developed so far in engineering, production and creative technologies.
You’ll creatively explore how these skills can be applied to real-world projects. This includes instrument design, performance system development, and live events and studio practice.
You’ll combine project development with practical workshops on topics including:
- instrument design and augmentation
- prototyping
- performance systems
- live electronics
- live audiovisuals
- creative approaches to studio engineering
- new interfaces for musical expression
- collaborative design.
This is all supported by ongoing development of core skills in audio engineering and production.
We regularly review our modules to incorporate student feedback, staff expertise, as well as the latest research and teaching methodology. We鈥檙e planning to run these modules in the academic year 2026/27. However, there may be changes to these modules in response to feedback, staff availability, student demand or updates to our curriculum.
We鈥檒l make sure to let you know of any material changes to modules at the earliest opportunity.
