Content snippets
Content snippets allow you to create re-usable blocks of HTML that you can place all over your site and only need to write it once. This has the added advantage that you only have to make changes in one location for all instances of the snippet to be updated throughout your site.
Listing snippets
When you click on the 'Content snippets' sub-menu option under the 'Pages' tab you'll be presented with a list, if any, of any snippets that have currently been made within the site you're editing. From here you can quickly see the snippet code, edit or delete specific snippets.
Adding snippets
Select the 'Add snippets' sub-menu option under the 'Pages' tag and you'll be able to add a snippet. You'll see the same kind of editor that you'll be used to when adding/editing pages, so start typing in the snippet you want and click on the save button. Once done the new snippet will appear on your list and you'll be able to use it within your pages.
Editing snippets
From the list of snippets select the 'edit' link and your snippet will be opened in the form above for you to edit.
Using snippets
You can use snippets you have previously created when adding or editing pages. You can drop them in to the content of your page by using the 'WCM snippets' icon, .
