Checking file and folder usage
Files
When using the folders to automatically display your file information on a page, you don’t have to worry about keeping the links up-to-date. However, if you manually link a file then it’s quite important to make sure you don’t delete it before removing any links on your site else you will end up with broken links. To help see where files are manually linked on your site, click on the ‘Check file usage’ link on the file list page and it will update the information for any of the files that it has found manually linked.
Folders
Checking what pages your folders may be attached to is very similar. Under the folder list page, click on the ‘Check folder usage’ link and it will check your site for any areas that you’ve dropped folders in to and update the information for the folder to show you where.
